Mark Liversedge brings extensive leadership experience and a solid technical foundation to the vertical transport industry. He has spent more than 44 years in operational and management roles within the lift industry across Australia and Asia.
Most recently, Mark spent nearly 17 years with Schindler Lifts Australia Pty Limited, serving as Product Quality and Safety Manager from March 2008 to December 2024. In this role, he led national initiatives focused on enhancing product standards, ensuring compliance, improving safety performance, and driving operational excellence.
Mark also served as an Executive Member of the Australian Elevator Association between 2016 and 2024, contributing to industry representation, policy development, and collaborative engagement across member organisations. He was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the newly named Australian Association of Vertical Transport (AAVT) in January 2025, where he continues to advance the Association’s strategic direction, advocacy, and professional development objectives.
