Recent Highlights

Our latest research and development has expanded the Going Up product range to meet the evolving needs of the market. • Our MRL range now includes speeds of up to 3.0 m/s. • Our proven 2,500 kg system, already well established within the industry, is now available in 3,000 kg capacities with speeds of up to 1.75 m/s. • The new MRL HEAVY range has expanded capacity from 3,500 kg to 5,000 kg, providing a broader solution for heavy-duty applications. Also, now standard across our lift equipment is an EN81-28 compliant gateway for emergency communications and remote monitoring, co-developed by Going Up. This integrated platform provides advanced remote diagnostics, detailed operational insights and proactive notification of developing service issues, enabling faster response times and improved lift reliability for our clients.

Looking Ahead

We look forward to Going Up and never letting you down.

Industry Insight

Unlike many other trades, there are no nationally recognised training pathways specifically for lift installation and maintenance, leaving the responsibility of developing the next generation of technicians almost entirely with lift companies. As lifts become increasingly sophisticated, investing in structured training and technical development is critical to maintaining high standards of safety, reliability and innovation. At Going Up, we recognised this need and proudly opened our dedicated training centre in 2024, providing hands-on learning and ongoing technical development to help build the skilled workforce our industry needs for the future.

Your AAVT Membership

AAVT membership is invaluable to any reputable vertical transport organisation. The industry is constantly evolving, and without the insights, technical knowledge and regular industry updates provided by the AAVT, it is easy to fall behind. The AAVT plays a vital role in promoting best practice, professional development and keeping members informed of emerging trends, standards and regulatory changes.
