Rod Austin-Eames brings nearly four decades of technical and managerial expertise to the vertical transport industry. Having served approximately 38 years with KONE as National Technical Manager, Rod has developed extensive experience across all technical, service, and operational aspects of lifts and escalator systems. His deep understanding of industry standards, safety, and operational management delivers a strong contribution to the Association and its members.
Rod was appointed Company Secretary of the Australian Association of Vertical Transport (AAVT) in May 2025, where he contributes his extensive technical knowledge and leadership to the ongoing development and governance of the Association.
